Terms of Service

Last updated: October 17, 2026

These Terms govern your use of ashorechina.com and any consulting services provided by Futing Yian (Shanghai) Information Consulting Service Co., Ltd. ("Ashore China", "we", "us"). By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. What we are — and what we are not

We are an independent information and consulting firm. We are not a government agency, not a law firm, and not a visa-issuing authority. We do not and cannot guarantee the outcome of any permit, visa, or application. Decisions rest solely with the relevant authorities.

2. Services

  • Free Assessment: a preliminary, good-faith view of your situation based on the information you provide. It is general information, not legal advice.
  • Paid Diagnostic: a written, case-specific analysis delivered as a report.
  • Full Case Management: end-to-end assistance with document preparation, coordination, and application support, billed by milestone under a separate written service agreement.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Provide complete, accurate, and truthful information and documents. We rely on what you tell us; false or withheld information voids any assessment we give and may terminate the engagement without refund for work already performed.
  • Respond to our requests in a timely manner — government deadlines do not pause while we wait for you.
  • You remain responsible for your own decisions. Our reports inform your choices; they do not make them for you.

4. Fees and payment

  • Fees are quoted in writing before any paid work begins, and are payable via the methods stated on the invoice (currently PayPal).
  • Full Case Management is billed per milestone; each milestone is invoiced only when the previous one is complete.
  • Government fees, notarization, translation, and courier costs are third-party costs, payable by you, and are never marked up by us.

5. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. No guaranteed outcomes

Policies, processing times, and eligibility rules are set by government authorities and change without notice. We commit to accurate information, diligent work, and honest communication — never to a specific result.

7. Confidentiality

We treat your documents and case details as confidential and handle them per our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

Reports we prepare for you are yours to use for your own case. Website content remains our property and may not be republished commercially without permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees you actually paid us for the service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, missed opportunities, or decisions of government authorities.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes will first be resolved through good-faith negotiation; failing that, they will be submitted to arbitration in Shanghai, China, in the location of our registered office.
