This Privacy Policy explains how Futing Yian (Shanghai) Information Consulting Service Co., Ltd. ("Ashore China", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use ashorechina.com or engage our consulting services.

1. Who we are

2. What we collect

• Information you give us directly: your name, email address, nationality, education and work history, and any documents you choose to send us during an assessment or engagement.
• Communication records: emails and messages exchanged with us, so we can keep an accurate history of your case.
• Basic technical data: this website does not use analytics trackers or advertising cookies. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, access time) may be kept by our hosting provider for security purposes.

3. How we use it

• To assess your eligibility and provide consulting services you requested;
• To communicate with you about your case;
• To issue invoices, process payments, and meet accounting and tax obligations under PRC law;
• To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from authorities.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. Ever.

4. Who we share it with

Only where necessary to deliver your service, and only the minimum required:

• Service providers that run our infrastructure (email hosting, website hosting, payment processing such as PayPal);
• Translation, notarization, or authentication offices when your case requires document processing — with your knowledge;
• Government authorities, only where the application you asked us to assist with legally requires it.

5. Cross-border transfer

We are based in mainland China. If you contact us from abroad, your information will be transferred to and processed in China. By engaging our services, you acknowledge and consent to this transfer.

6. How long we keep it

We keep case records for the duration of your engagement and up to 3 years afterwards, to handle any follow-up questions, disputes, or legal requirements. After that, records are deleted or anonymized. You may ask us to delete your data earlier (see below).

7. Your rights

You may at any time request to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent to further processing. Email hi@ashorechina.com and we will respond within 15 business days. Note that deleting data we are legally required to keep (e.g. invoices) may not be fully possible.

8. Security

We limit access to your information to the people handling your case, use encrypted email and HTTPS on this site, and do not store payment card details on our systems at any time.

9. Changes

If we update this policy, the new version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Material changes will be announced by email to active clients.
